GURU NANAK TESTS BHAI LEHNA- Bhai Lehna passed all the difficult tests of true love, selfless service, devotion and reverence. From time to time Guru Ji would test his Sikhs and his sons to ascertain who was capable of nurturing the true religion. One day he threw a brass pot into a pool of dirty water and asked both his sons Lakhmi Das and Sri Chand, who were standing near by to go and get it. Both of them made some excuse or the other and refused. However when he asked Bhai Lehna, he immediately went and retrieved the pot from the dirty pool.
An exceptional painting of Shere-e-Punjab, Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The artist has captured the majestic mood of the Maharaja in this beautiful painting- one of his best works.
A painting done by the artist in his apprentice days. Guru Nanak saving Mardana from 'Kauda Rakash (demon)' as he was about to fry Mardana in a couldron to have him as a meal.
Royal robe of Maharaja Ranjit Singh
Turban Helmet: watered steel with gold-probably Lahore, first half of 19th century.
Coins during the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh
